in an effort to reduce waste is this product available in a 24' roll?

Asked by: hevyduty
Unfortunately no, this bumper is only sold as 8 ft. factory cut segments

When mating up 2 segments of “D profile“ bumper horizontally, the cross-sections don’t match up completely. Is there some sort of insert that matches the interior “D profile” that could be placed in the end of each segment for better alignment?

Asked by: Jerry46
There absolutely is a connector DE1029F

What is the best way to cut this and end up with nice square ends? Thanks

Asked by: Doug
A table saw or chop saw will be the easiest way to get a square cut. Otherwise, you may need to resort to clamping the bumper in place and use a straight edge to mark where you want to cut before using a freehanded tool like a hacksaw or reciprocating saw.

WHAT IS THE WIDTH AND DEPTH OF MATERIAL ALREADY KNOW IT COMES IN 8 FT LENGTH?

Asked by: RUDY
The other dimensions are 3-3/16"W x 1-3/4"D

Can you please describe how "rigid" is the material? I'm trying to determine how much "cushion" it provides - i.e. hard PVC (like schedule 40 plumbing pipe) or softer vinyl? Also, would this material "shed" or leave risidual marks from a hard hit?

Asked by: Greg
This material is not a hard PVC, it is flexible. I like it. I just received it, so I can't answer your second question, but it doesn't look like it would leave a mark.

I see that this comes in three 8ft lengths. I am looking to affix them vertically on my pilings. Can I cut them into 4ft lengths? Or would that compromise the strength of the material?

Asked by: tld451
You can cut this dock edging.
