Rated 5 out of 5 by from PT-35 T&T Excellent Product Installed the PT-35 on my Alumacraft Fisherman 145 CS with Suzuki 25 HP 4-stroke(heavy motor-162 lbs.)four years ago.It was easy to install and has performed flawlessly.Definetly a back saver for us old farts. If you follow the install instructions and operate it according to the manual you won't have any problems.Good product for a reasonable price.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from No more back-breaking engine-tilting! We have a smaller outboard (15hp), but it still is quite awkward and heavy to repeatedly tilt the engine up and down by hand. We use this boat daily, so the engine goes up/down at least twice per day. So far, this hydraulic tilt is working fine. You can even adjust it "on the fly" to alter the way the boat planes on the water. Our only complaint is that you have to be careful when tilting the engine up. The motor mounting bolts can be crushed because there is not enough room as the hydraulic plate tilts up. It tilts up enough to lift the lower unit out of the water, however. You just have to be cautious not to go beyond a certain point.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from It's ok I just installed the pt 35 on my 15' Jon boat, with a 25 H.P. nisson, and it worked the first 2 times I used it, then quit. I have not had the customer service contact me yet, emailed them 4 days ago, but it is the week end, plus a holliday, so I figure it will be a couple more days. I hope I ge t it working soon, I am missing out on alot of duck hunting. It is a nice unit, and works great when its working.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Need to beef-up lower bracket. Lower bracket keeps breaking on the pt-35. needs to be heavier duty

I am considering mounting this on my Angler 220 to attach a 2013 Mercury 9.9 kicker. Will this hold up to the seas that I may encounter on the Great Lakes?

    Asked by: RetiredR
Thanks for your question. Yes, this should hold up well in those conditions. This product is made from 1/4" 6061 T6 Extruded Aluminum Construction with Stainless Steel Fasteners. It is rated for 7853 lbs of thrust so it should hold us just fine in rough seas with a 9.9 hp kicker.

will this PT-35 Tilt @ Trim fit any mid 1970s Johnson outboard motor?

    Asked by: Anonymous
This will work with any brand and any year outboard motor that is a clamp on or bolt on application that is UNDER 35 horsepower. If your HP is over that then you will need the bigger one.
