CIPA Comp Mirror
A relative referred this product to me. I really like it. It is easy to install and I am able to see the people I am pulling behind the boat it has a nice wide view. I am very happy with the product.

Does the job well
We use it for waterskiing and because of the 8" height nobody has to ever even adjust it. Bigger than the one I replaced so it is slight problem putting cover on the boat but it is easy to tip down if I had to.

Not worth the money.
The screw to attached it to the windshield stripped out after only three uses. I plan on returning it or exchaning it.

Great Mirror - but poor fitting
Bought the mirror ... as the wide screen frame on my Maxum would not accept other options. It is a great mirror for field of view. The problem is the fixing screw .... this is a plastic threaded knob ... which easily ends up with damaged thread as it is screwing into an aluminium threaded hole. Also as it tightens it makes the contact paint at the rear to be only the plastic screw... easily dislodged. Be far better if the 'u shaped' channel actually tightened up, clamping onto screen frame. I replaced screw twice ... after 3rd failure I modified fitting myself. However the mirror itself is first class.

Good product, light weight, adjustable
Bought a new inboard/outboard, and it was the first thing we added. From previous experience, we know it works.

Nice & Big!
This is a great mirror that attached securely. I've tried a suction cup mount mirror before and hated when they popped off! This one never comes loose or rattles even when crossing heavy chop in my 20' bow rider ski boat. My only con is its large size. It is probably better suited to a larger boat or at least a bigger windshield. It was difficult to see around and I found myself standing to look over the top frequently.

LOVE IT
We love this mirror. We had a smaller mirror previously and thought it was fine until...we ordered this mirrror. It is larger, sturdier and you can see everything behind you. It's awesome. And of course the free shipping is just a plus.

Will this mirror fit a bimini top rail
Yes. The clamp will open up to 1.25" wide. If you have a round tube bimini it is probably 7/8" or 1". If you have a square tube bimini (Pontoon) then it is probably 1" or 1.25".

Can this mirror be mounted on the side frame of a pontoon boat and turned 90 degrees to view behind the boat? There is not a frame in front of the driver to mount the mirror in my case.
No

I have a cobalt 220, will this retain well on the windshield frame? I am not sure it is rectangular.
I am unfamiliar with your boat specs there are so many out there, but if you windshield is not square it will not fit properly.

Can this mirror be mounted either above or below the top frame of the windshield?
This will work where ever you can fit the clamp, so if you have room and it will fit, it should do fine for you.

I have one of these and have broken the adjustable arm that goes between the mirror itself and the windshield bracket. Is this piece available as a replacement part by itself?
This part is not available. However, depending on your purchase date , you may be able to get a complete replacement. Please call our customer service department.
