They are 99.5% efficient* in capturing microscopic pollutants. The specially engineered synthetic filtration media provides a complex matrix that particles must navigate, so more small particles are captured in the process. These filters feature a metal spiral-wound center tube for internal strength and durability. Metal end caps provide integrity to the filter media during cold starts. The media is also backed by a wire mesh which keeps it intact and ensures reliable filtration performance for up to 10,000 miles. Silicone anti-drain back valve protects your engine against dry starts. Relief valve prevents oil restriction and ensures proper oil flow.
