Rated 4 out of 5 by from Adjustable poles The are ok, a screw fell out while boating but I had another. Other than that was good.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works as advertised and easy to install I have a C-Dory 16 Cruiser. Before I purchased this product the Bimini top, when down, was behind the engine requiring it to be put up before launching and leaving it up during recovery. This made entering or exiting the boat difficult due the forward straps. It also makes the boat look better when the top is down. It has really added a big plus to our boating.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Product This product a great addition to my bimini. It keeps the bimini off my motor and out of my way when not in use. The poles make the bimini more solid while driving and in windy conditions.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great product This very easy to install and will support the Bimini Top when traveling down the road. It also will keep it off the engine cover and out of the way.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Mixed feelings.. Not sure if it was worth the [$]. The plastic wingnuts stripped upon 1st tightening. I will be replacing them with straight pins after I drill holes through the alum tubing in the 2 spots that I would like the top to sit at, in both the deployed position, and also trailering position. Still a better option than the alternative (fixed support poles), but definitely felt this could've been a better product for the money, and would expect to perform NO modifications or hassles- especially for the price.

I would like to connect to 1 inch square pole frame can one end be adapted to fit

Asked by: Kathy
You may be able to remove the 7/8" jaw slides that connect to the round frame and attach item # 75821 to connect to your 1" square tubing. I have not heard of someone doing this so I am not sure it will work.

Do these attach with some kind of quick release Pin to the bimini? I ask this because I would want the top laying completely down when I travel ,because I use a boat Cover when trailering. Thanks

Asked by: Jake
Yes they are easily released if you need to lay the top down.

Are these available in Stainless Steel?

Asked by: SaltWater Boater
Yes, they are, you can order them online. They came in really fast. Don't, don't order a top from them though. Going on day 20 and no Bimini Top, only excuses why it's not here and no word from the manufacturer. Only order parts that Overtons have in their warehouse, then you'll get it on time.

Can this product be used when boat is in tow.

Asked by: Anonymous
You can use these anytime whether the boat is going fast or slow, but what you need to worry about is if the bimini top is open you should be driving under 18mph. If the bimini top is closed then it is fine to drive however fast you want. Just be careful if the bimini top is open because you do run a risk of it taking on Mary Poppins abilities and flying off of your boat.

Will this work on pontoon boat.

Asked by: Berl
You would not be able to use this support pole with a pontoon bimini top because pontoon bimini tops have square frames and this is made for round frames that are usually used on runabout boats. You should consider one of the following items for pontoon bimini tops: 74985, 76724, or 73324. Those items are sold individually.
