Works great
Works great. Hooked it up to a switch/fuse block. Had to look up that the wiring tabs are not polarized, so the ground and live wires can be hooked to either (for the other amateur boat electricians out there).

I would buy this product again.
I built a new console for my pontoon boat and installed this horn. Built to last forever out of stainless steel with a beautiful polished stainless cover. Very nice unit.

Replacement horn for inboard
Replaced my horn in my Supra. Easy to install except securing it to the boat required extra work. The old horn had threaded holes to secure the screws to. The new horn didn't. I had to make a bracket to attach to the back of the horn so I could secure the horn to the boat. Not a big deal, but the horn should come with nuts and bolts in addition to screws for the most flexibility.

Love to boat! from
Easy installation, one flaw
Installed at the beginning of season in 2012, replaced OEM that was faulty. Easy to install, had to drill new holes slightly narrower than OEM. Only down side is the speaker cloth, or whatever you might call it, is paper and only lasted two seasons. I only have the boat uncovered when I'm using it, expected the cloth to last longer. It was easy to replace.

worked perfectly
the horn was missing when I bought my boat, just a deteriorated plastic cover over the hole. This horn fit the precut hole perfectly and the chromed, metal cover finished the job. Fit is always iffy when working on an older ( 1994 ) boat.

I have this horn (Item # 35184) on my boat. It will not sound going thru switch wiring (just clunks one time) but will sound off fine when connected to battery directly. Switch checks out with current flow (test light). any help would be appreciated.

Is this correct for a 2008 sun dancer 310?
Thanks for your question regarding the Ongaro mini drop-in horn. Unfortunately we do not know the exact horn that came standard with you Sundancer 310 so we can't say for sure if this will be an exact fit. There are two major manufacturers of mini drop in horns and both are very similar in size and use the same number of wiring terminals. The best thing to do is to measure your existing horn and grill and compare to this one to make sure it will fit in the hole and cover the opening. The sizes of this horn are: Horn measures 3"L x 3-1/4"W x 1-3/4"H. Grill measures 4-7/8" x 2-3/8" with 4" on centers mounting holes.

WHAT ABOUT THE DUALONGARO HORN, #72614, WILL IT FIT IN THE SAME HOLE AS THE SINGLE?
item 72614 is a total of two horns that are both 3" L x 3-1/4" W x 1-3/4" H. So you will need two holes instead of just one. They are the same size as just the single though.

Im looking for a drop in replacement horn for a 07 larson 180 sport
None of our horns are application specific so you should be able to wire any of them to a power, ground, and momentary switch and they work just fine. So, yes this and any of our other horns should work for you depending on the mounting space available on your boat.

will this horn fit a Rinker 243 Year 2001 deck boat?
They are universal and have no specific models they fit. I am unfamiliar with your boat. 3" L x 3-1/4" W x 1-3/4" H There are the dimensions you can reference.
