Rated 5 out of 5 by from product is great My boat needed cleats positioned for driver to tie up while docking. These are working great. I had a difficult time finding stainless hardware for installation but it worked out and I am pleased with their performance.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great product I bought a couple of these from another company, but the quality was so bad I gave them away, so I thought I would try some from Overton's and glad I did, the 6'' stainless cleats were of a quality that refected the integrity of this company. I have bought many things from Overton's and will cotinue in the future. Thanks

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect Match! This deck cleat was an exact match for the existing cleats on my boat. Very easy to install and it looks great. I mounted it on the bow as an anchor tie off and it looks like it came with the boat. Love it!

What are the exact specs of the #14 fasteners? Specifically, should they be wood screws or bolts; and what length should they be? I am attaching them to my fiberglass gunwale. Finally to attach to the boat do I need to put plywood backing also?

    Asked by: Maxumdude
The 6" Stainless-Steel Cleat can be installed by using either screws or bolts. The length will depend on your installation location and if you add wood as your backing for support.
