Product Description
asics The ASICS GT-2000 Running Shoe is engineered with premium features sure to delight mild to moderate overpronators over any distance. The Impact Guidance System (I.G.S.) employs linked components to enhance the foot's natural gait from heel strike to toe-off. The Dynamic DuoMax system enhances stability and support while reducing weight and increasing platform comfort. The Guidance Line vertical flex groove decouples the tooling along the line of progression for enhanced gait efficiency, while the Guidance Trusstic System adds even greater support. The Rearfoot and Forefoot GEL Cushioning Systems attenuate shock during impact and toe-off phases, and allow movement on multiple planes as the foot transitions through the gait cycle. The lightweight Solyte midsole further enhances cushioning and durability. P.H.F. (Personalized Heel Fit) technology adds two layers of memory foam at the collar and molds to the athlete's heel, creating a personalized fit. The ComforDry Sockliner provides cushioning performance and anti-odor properties for a cooler, drier, healthier environment. ASICS High-Abrasion Rubber (AHAR) is placed in critical areas of the outsole for exceptional durability. The DuraSponge blown rubber compound outsole enhances cushioning and durability in the forefoot. Lace-up design. Medium width. Imported.

Highly Recommend!

Comments about ASICS Mens GT-2000 Running Shoe:

The Asics GT-2000 shoes are one of the most comfortable running shoes I have ever worn. I researched via running magazines, internet, and through other runners â€" and the Asics brand seemed to be one of the best running shoes on the market. I probably tried five other brands of shoes and I’m sold on the Asics brand for running. Now for the model of shoe - I again tried on almost every model of shoe Asics has to offer, and kept going back to the GT-2000. It is a top of the line shoe and extremely comfortable. I am a heel-striker with a slight over pronation and this shoe took off one minute of my 5K time the first time I tried them out! Check out the features â€" the shoe has it all. Highly Recommended!

Happy Runner !

Comments about ASICS Mens GT-2000 Running Shoe:

Me: Avid runner, 5k, 10k, 1/2 Marathon, 26.2. and Army runner. I have been running in these shoes for about 4 months now and I really love them. They are very light, comfy, structured very well and it’s almost like I don’t even feel them when I am running. I’m already thinking about buying my second pair, so when my shoes achieve their cut off miles, I am ready to change them out. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!

amazing shoe for ME

Comments about ASICS Mens GT-2000 Running Shoe:

As you can see I said I would NOT recommend this for a friend. The reason being is every single persons feet are shaped differently. Maybe this shoe works for some people and maybe it doesn't for others. I had Anterior Compartment Syndrome in both my shins and got surgery on both my shins. This pair of shoes is my first pair of running shoes after my surgery and I am proud to say I am in better shape than I was before the surgery. If you want a more natural muscle movement and usage while also getting some support I would recommend this shoe.

Disappointed

Comments about ASICS Mens GT-2000 Running Shoe:

I've had the GT2150 and 2160 shoes in the past and they were excellent. I have owned several pairs of Asics that have been great as well, but avoid the cheap Asics. The older GT series had perfect cushioning, fit well, and lasted a long time (other than eventually the cloth would rip#. I was looking at getting some 2170s, but went with the new GT2000 instead. I am very disappointed in the new version. The cushioning in the forefoot is basically gone and arch support isn't nearly as good #the two things I liked most about the old GT). Also, I wear normal width shoes, but my feet feel squeezed into these. I've had them over a month now, hoping they would get better or I would get used to them.

Poor Choice-Look Elsewhere

Comments about ASICS Mens GT-2000 Running Shoe:

Asics had a great run with the GT 2150, and GT 2160. I was shocked when I did not see the GT 2180 this year and instead found these. I bought a pair and was quickly disappointed. The 2160 (my personal favorite) provided the right amount of pronation support and stability. It seems like the GT 2000 overdoes this and makes it feel like you are running on the side of the shoe. I would call these a Kayano Lite they have that much support. Asics has really lost a customer here.
