The Standard Horizon Explorer GX1600 VHF Radio is designed for easy and convenient mounting. The ultra thin and compact 3.5" deep rear-case design takes up less space when bracket mounting the radio to the dash and also offers flexible flush mounting of the radio.

Dedicated channel 70 receiver meets Class D DSC regulations by continuously watching for DSC calls. "Poll" another vessel for its GPS location, and it will show up on the radio's display. Connect the Explorer GX1600 to a GPS chartplotter to send back your position, SOG, COG, and time. The microphone uses ClearVoice noise reduction technology and has dedicated 16/9 channel, high/low transmit, and channel selection keys. Also features programmable scan, dual watch, priority scan, customizable channel names, all NOAA weather channels with alert, one preset channel, three programmable soft keys, and an oversized backlit dot matrix screen. 4 different NMEA inputs/2 different outputs. Shakespeare 5101 Classic 8' VHF Marine Antenna
This 8' 6dB powerboat antenna is designed with brass and copper elements with a smooth, high-gloss polyurethane finish. Features chrome-plated brass ferrule with standard 1" -14 threads. End-fed with matching stub. Includes 15' RG-58 cable and a PL-259 connector.

This heavy-duty mount is made for securely supporting marine antennas. Made of 316 stainless steel. Four-way ratchet design with handle. Designed for deck or bulkhead mounting. Standard 1"-14 male threads. Requires four 1/4" fasteners (not included).
