what I have received was like dome shape, while on your site the picture is quite different. however it did what it was supposed to do, to hold the chair

does the base mount hold the Swivl-Eze Wedge 2-3/8" Adjustable Power Pedestal with Seat Mount, 13"-19", I don't want to cut a hole in my deck so I wanted this kind of base I think.
Unfortunately this will not work for your application.

I have a Taper-Lock Pedestal Post made by Springfield. Will it fit this surface mount base?
If it is 2-7/8 inch diameter then it will.
