Rated 2 out of 5 by from I purchased this gauge 14 months ago. It worked fine and installed easily. The gauge quit working after only 14 months. When you power it up, the needle pegs out to the 240 mark before you crank the engine and does not return to normal position.

What does the back look like? How are the connectors put on? Thanks Rick

Asked by: Rick
Hello Rick, The Sierra Water Temp Gauge has three studs with nuts on the back of the gauge. There is a stud for the temperature sender to be connected too, a stud for the ignition wire and a stud for the ground. Thank you, Steve

Replacing gauge on '91 I/O. Face is similar, but not identical. Does back have four post connectors? One for ground, one for sender, one for ignition, and one for light?

Asked by: jon
It has three posts, as the light is powered through the ignition post

I wanted to know if this water temp gauge item#73377 and oil pressure gauge item#73379 will work for our 1995 Crownline Cruiser?

Asked by: sally the on site looker
We are unable to answer your question with the information provided. We actually can not decipher anything for the make, model, and year of any boat, because that information is not as readily available as one may think. If you are able to, please provide us with your engine information and we can check to see if parts like this will work with your sending units that are on your engine.
