Fun!
So much fun to use. First time camping with it I made pizza pockets and used leftover pie crust filled with pumpkin butter for a "pop tart" for my brother who is addicted to them. He was way impressed. Easy to use and clean. I did season it a few times before using it.

Looks good
Haven't used yet (purchased in late fall) but appears to be heavy cast metal for even heat distribution. Looking forward to using.

Rome pie irons - a big hit for the grandkids!
These seasoned beautifully - I used grape oil. The long handles were a hit and both kids and adults enjoyed making yummy pies. Sandwiches cooked to a golden brown on the outside and hot perfection on the inside.

No more clips sliding into the fire!
Trusted solid design and construction. Also includes latest improvement which is a small crimp in the metal part of the handle that keeps the clip from sliding up and into the fire. No more burnt fingers!

Rome Cast Iron Square Pie Iron.
This is a very well made pie iron. I am very happy with the quality. I have a cast iron pie maker very similar to this one that I bought 25 years ago and it is still going strong. You certainly can’t go wrong with this one. Thumbs up.

Can you use these on the grill as well as on a campfire?
Yep- just open them up once and awhile to make sure they don't burn.
