The GX2150 Matrix+ integrates a dual-channel AIS receiver that displays received AIS target vessels directly on your VHF radio. Improved from the GX2000, the GX2150 has True and Magnetic selection for AIS targets and 4800 to 38400 NMEA input baud rate selection for compatibility with plotters that have only 1 NMEA input, and the 30-watt PA/loud hailer with fog signals now operates simultaneously with AIS display. It displays AIS target information (MMSI, call sign, ship's name, BRG, DST, SOG, and COG) and will allow you to contact an AIS ship directly using DSC, show your position in relation to targets, and alert you when an AIS ship is approaching with its CPA (closest point of approach alarm).

One antenna input is all that's needed since the GX2150 utilizes the VHF antenna to receive targets from ships with AIS class A or B transponders. Features an 80 db commercial-grade receiver with local/distance attenuator, and Class D DSC. Radio has durable chassis, user-changeable channel names, optional voice scrambler, ClearVoice noise-canceling speaker microphone, 4.5-watt audio output, NOAA weather alert. The GX2150 Matrix allows you to enter up to 100 waypoints and navigate to them with a unique navigation compass; display shows your vessel SOG, COG, BRG, and DST to the waypoint. Radio can be connected to a RAM3 Remote Access Microphone (not included), allowing control of all VHF, DSC, and hailer functions remotely.

Scan features include programmable scan, priority scan, and dual watch. NMEA inputs include GLL, GGA, GNS, and RMC. NMEA outputs include DSC, DSE, and VDM. 25/1 watt transmit power. Backlit LCD screen. 7.1"W x 3.1"H x 6.3"D.
