The brains behind the brawn, the AC70 is an essential component in your Simrad autopilot system. The unit contains the steering computer and electronics for the drive unit motor and clutch while also acting as an interface to other system components. With an output of 30/50 A, the motor current has sufficient power output to control drive units on boats over 40' in length (depending on rudder size and displacement). The AC70 Autopilot Computer connects to an AP70 NFU controller or NSS, NSE, and NSO navigation systems with ease. For reversible motor or non-galvanic isolated solenoids. 12-24V DC power supply.
