Post bumpers are great protection for pipe-supported docks and also protect the boat from contact with the metal dock pipe and hardware at dock level. This post bumper easily slides over 1-1/2" and 2" dock pipe and rests securely against the dock. Molded from marine-grade vinyl with an inflation valve to adjust firmness. Bumper measures 17"L x 7"D.

    Will these work on an aluminum boat lift post?

    how far apart are the screw holes?

    We have a metal open frame dock under the wooden decking. Instead of bolts into the wood, could cording or roping be inserted through the holes and tied to the open metal framing>
