Features
The rod on the Ugly Stik GX2 Spinning Combo features Ugly Tech construction with a combination of graphite and fiberglass to create a strong, yet sensitive rod with better balance and a lightweight feel. Ugly Tuff guides are 1-piece, stainless-steel guides that eliminate insert pop-outs and can be used with all types of line, including braid. Clear Tip design offers extra strength and added sensitivity, and the EVA grips are durable, lightweight, and comfortable.
The reel sports a ball bearing drive with a 1-way clutch instant anti-reverse bearing for smoother gear feel and instant hook sets. The machined, double-anodized aluminum spool comes with an oversized bail wire for improved durability. Compression bail springs increase the reel's life span, and soft touch handle knobs add comfort and grip when reeling in that big catch. Backed by Ugly Stik's 7-year warranty.
