Rated 4 out of 5 by from Not good for horizontal surface I mounted these as replacements on a horizontal surface. These are really meant to be mounted on either side of a bow. The forward facing light is angled away from the mounting surface around 20 degrees which would work great on a bow surface curving into a point. The top LED throws a nice fan at a right angle from the mounting surface. Again would work great on a vertical surface. The lights themselves seem to be pretty good quality and look good. For my installation they pretty much light up the ceiling.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Reasonably Happy I bought this in May it worked great all summer No problems. Loved it. Got in boat to winterize this fall went to turn on tunes.....got nothing. The entire lcd lit up black. Contatcted overtons, they sent me a brand new one. Try it again hoping it was just a fluke, cause i really like this stereo. Other than that mishap, great reception good sound quality, all around great for the money.

After the mounting on the boat, how do you connect to power? Is it ran directly to the battery or can you run it to a switch on the dash console then run the lines back to the battery. I currently only have one battery on my Pontoon.

Asked by: Steve
This light is hardwired. As this light does not have a built-in switch, ideally you will want to wire in a switch just for this light and connect it to the battery(if you want it isolated from other lights) or can splice it in with an existing onboard light system that has a factory installed switch.

I've tried to search to see the direction the lights go in. Also, it looks like there are lights on the back side. Is there anywhere to see the lights in use?

Asked by: Jim
Per the manufacturer the 3 LED lights will face the direction you would like the light to shine.

Can you share more specifics regarding how these lights are mounted? Drilled with bolt and nut attachment or stick on? I am replacing my lights but cannot access the previous mounting holes from the hull. Wiring is accessible - but need something that does not require a nut to secure the lights
Asked by: richard
Thanks for your question. Please see link below. There are two screws that hold the light secure to the hull and you will not need to access the backside. Once you mount the light base you will install the cover to hide screws in the base and the other components http://www.itc-marine.com/wp-content/uploads/sites/4/2015/03/69388SS_Surface_Mount_LED_Docking_Light.pdf

Do these lights require any drilling to mount the light or run any wires? Do they come with mounting instructions?

Asked by: robb
Hello Robb, Yes. A hole must be drilled for the wiring which is in the middle of the fixture. Yes, the mounting instructions are included. Thank you, Steve
