Rated 1 out of 5 by from DO NOT BUY. Extremely poor quality. Out of the 20 i ordered only 2 ever turned on. While Overton was amazing at handling the problem, it still left me without dock lights like i wanted.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Bought 4. Only 1 worked. I purchased four of these several years ago and really liked them. Some of my dock light (9 or 10 in all) were out or reduced output, so I thought I’d replace them. So once again, I purchased this style and was totally disappointed. I unpacked them, removed the magnets and plastic...then placed them on the dock in the sun early in the day, so they would have 8 or 10 hours of sunlight to charge up. I forgot to look at them the first night, but the second night, I realized that only one of them was operating. It appears the back could be removed and the battery could be replaced, but I see no markings on the battery and don’t know where to source them.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from BAD PRODUCT I BOUGHT 10 OF LIGHTS AND 5 DIDNT WORK AND 2 OF THEM WERE DIMMER THEN THE OTHER 3 DISAPOINTED

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Looks Good - Unsatisfactory Reliability Product looks good out of the box. Over time the clear plastic degrades (darkens). If water ever leaks in the battery will die. Product lasts a year or two.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from These work well for me. I purchased four of these early this season and installed them on my dock about six weeks ago. The first four worked very well and I ordered and received four more that I plan to install soon. Except for the slightly confusing directions to leave the units in the sun for 24 hours before installing (perhaps in Alaska on June 21st), they are very simple. I pulled them out of the box, removed the clear plastic that covers the solar cell and screwed them to the dock. When the sun goes down they glow softly and mark the edges of the dock. They do not light up the dock. They are just to let people know where the edges are so they don't run into (or fall of) the dock. They do this well. I haven't watched them all night, but I have seen them on during the wee hours of the morning. They seem to do well during summer months when the number of daylight hours exceed night hours.

Does anyone know where to purchase the rechargeable battery pack that is inside these lights. My batteries have failed to recharge after two years

Asked by: Ddabbs
Per the manufacturer: "At this time, we do not have a current retailer for these lights. We are out of stock however your customer may order them from us directly. Our stock will be in early 2018. Each battery is $12.50." Their contact number is: (905) 850-3999.

What is the magnet for that is packaged with the light?

Asked by: Wayne
The magnet acts as a switch to prevent battery damage before the light is used for the first time. The magnet should be removed and discarded before you install your light.

Can this product be submerged? I was thinking of using them to mark the corners of my jet ski lift. They would be submerged for short periods of time. 10-15 minutes.

Asked by: cliff
well I would think it may work as they are outdoors and in the rain if its raining.....it would be worth a try?
