Features
These aluminum mounting plates allow quick and easy removal of your Stationary or Lift Ladder. Stainless steel locking pins keep ladder securely in place. Also can be used on Flip-Up ladders if you permanently remove the flip-up mounting plates.
Installation Note: The mounting plates have 4 holes so they are universal to fit several ladder brands including Dockmate and International Dock. For most ladders the front post will be positioned in the slotted hole and the rear post will go in the second hole from the slotted hole. The position of the post should be tested on your ladder before you mount the plates to your dock. The other two holes are used to mount the plates to your dock.

A little more tolerance to keep from appearing loose.

Poor instructions
Poor instructions for using with our ladder. Seemed like using this product would make the entire ladder install much less sturdy. We didn't use this on the install of our ladder so it was a waste of money. Returning an on-line purchase is inconvenient.

Great product for easy seasonal removal of ladder
These are a perfect fit for the dock ladder previously purchased from Overton's. Would have given 5 stars except for like the photo shows, they arrived as either two right-hand or two left-hand, don't remember which. This would mean one set of locking cables would be on the inside of the ladder, and the other on the outside of the ladder. Fortunately the base plates come with predrilled/tapped holes on both sides of the base plate as well. Simply took a Phillips Head screwdriver and moved one set of the locking cables to the other side base plate. Now all cable can be on the outside of the ladder and avoiding any possible trip hazard.

Mae by dock mate but doesn't fit Dockmate ladder
Quality is great, but picture is misleading. It shows a nice clean mounting to I would think a dock mate ladder. Instructions with mine say I have to drill more holes in ladder to match holes in quick disconnect. Being that they are both dock mate that I putchased from overton's one would think the holes would match. I would have given a five star rating if holes lined up as in picture. If you don't mind some extra holes drilled into your ladder which may or may not weaken the ladder base it is a great product. I am returning mine.

I have this hardware for my ladder but one of the connector pins ended up in the silt at the marina. Is there a way I can purchase one without buying the whole Kit? Thank you.
Unfortunately we do not have any extra pins for purchase for the Quick Release Mount. The pins measure at 1/8" diameter by 1-1/8" length.

DO THESE QUICK RELEASE MOUNTING PLATES COME WITH THE HARDWARE TO MOUNT TO THE PIER?
Due to the variations in mounting requirements based on differing applications, mounting hardware is NOT included. Most likely, you'll use some form of lag bolts or through bolts of a specific length, relative to your particular dock or pier.
