Rated 4 out of 5 by from Had mine for about a year, it has been great up til now, the heat melted the ignitor on it so i am in the process of having to order another one, it would be nice if i could get the part locally, other than that it has been great.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Turkey Fryer? I don't know about frying turkeys but I have grilled burgers and steaks, corn on the cob and asparagus. I have smoked whole pork loins (comes up a little short as a smoker), and roasted whole chickens. I think this is a very good outdoor multi cooker.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic! I bought this product on a whim. Saw it at a great price at Lowes and bought it and I am so glad I did. I have cooked many turkeys and beef rib roasts over the past few years and all I can say is that the results are phenomenal. The meat is always tender juicy and the taste is out of this world. My guests are always quite pleased. The cooker is made with quality materials and I presume is going to last for many years. I am so glad I bought this. Truly.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from One of my best investments. I love my Big Easy. I use it not only for turkey, but beef and pork roasts, chicken, and my favorite, spareribs. Everything comes out crispy on the outside and tender and juicy on the inside.

can i use Olive oil to break it in for first use?

Asked by: Robinsom
This can be used. To best season we recommend coating all interior surfaces of the cooking chamber with vegetable oil. If you use a vegetable spray, wipe down the cooking chamber after spraying to ensure an even coat. Start the Big Easy and let it burn until the vegetable oil burns off and stops smoking. The shiny finish of the stainless steel cooking chamber should now have a very dark brown or bronze color.

Hi I was wondering if the big easy should be preheated before putting in the turkey if that was necessary or not thank you.

Asked by: Vvl2255
Yes. We do recommend preheating the Big Easy before placing your turkey in it. It normally takes about ten to fifteen minutes per pound to cook a turkey in the Big Easy. We recommend using a meat thermometer to monitor the internal temperature of the turkey. Make sure it reaches an internal temperature of 165 degrees Fahrenheit.
