Comments about Garmin echo 550c Fishfinder:

This unit is great. It's simple to use and operate. Laid out logicly, not overwhelming. The display is bright, even in direct sunlight. When drop shoting you can actually see the weight, bait and swival on the screen. I have owned Lowrance and bird units and this one has them beat. If you wan't a unit without all the fancy bells and whistles this is it.

Echo products are for freshwater fishing. You should not use this in saltwater.
