I own several of these rod and reel combos. They have been throughout the years an excellent durable and reasonably priced outfit. I usually go out with three in combo for shallow, deep and worm presentation for bass, and the medium heavy will present heavy jigs in fast current river conditions for walleye. I think they are excellent choices for the price?

A couple of weeks ago I ordered three rod and reel combos of different lenghts and stiffness. My neighbor, which whom I fish a lot, also purchased a couple.

We purchased them because the sale price was great and the rod, which is what we were really after, has a very nice design for us as we fish top water and cast a lot. Specifically when you mount the reel it tightens from the top, not the bottom, meaning where you hold the rod you not placing your hand over the threads, making for a more comfortable rod to cast and handle.

On the downside it's been over two weeks since I ordered and only two of the three rod/reel combos have arrived. Also one of the eyelets on one of the rods my neighbor purchased failed the first day he fished with it, so I'm unsure about the quality.
