Handle does not float
Not sure if this tow rope is any better than what any discount store sells but time will tell. The handle seems sturdy and is fairly comfortable but it DOES NOT float.

We wanted to use this rope for serious short-line slalom 28-38 off. Probably expecting too much for the low price.
The first run on this rope resulted in the grip breaking free of the adhesive to the handle. As a result the grip surface now twists around the handle under typical skiing stress making it pretty much useless.
The good news is that we can continue to use the mainline, which seems adequate. But the handle was quickly replaced with an old.

Comments about Gladiator Pro-Grip Handle and 75' Line with 10 Color-Coded Take-Up Sections:
we like the ski rope. the construction of the rope is made very well and the handle feels good in your hands we also like the different colors of how they made the rope it is easy to see in the water when you are getting ready to ski. The only thing i didn't like was the first time we used the rope the handle floated and the second time we used the rope the handle sunk way down in the water. Other then the handle not floating we love the rope its well made and comfortable to ski with. Price was good to.
