Product Description
carl_zeiss_optical The 10x42 Terra ED Binocular from Zeiss combines advanced technologies to create a multi-purpose optic that delivers the image quality and streamlined silhouette worthy of the Carl Zeiss name. The Zeiss engineers designed the Terra ED for birders and hunters seeking a budget-friendly set of glasses that do not sacrifice twilight performance or functionality.

The Terra ED Binocular are fully multicoated Schott ED glass lenses designed to maximize light transmission and render contrast-rich images. Thanks to a space-saving Schmidt-Pechan roof prism design and lightweight composite housing, this binocular weighs less than 2 lbs. Complementing the high-transmission optical path and modest form factor, the Terra ED Binocular has a nitrogen-filled housing that provides fogproof performance and submersion tightness to a depth of approximately 3 feet, preparing these binoculars for almost any outdoor observation.

Comments about Carl Zeiss Optical Zeiss Terra ED 10x42 Binocular:

I purchased the Zeiss Terra 10x42 to up grade from my current binoculars without having to pay a lot of money. I use these binoculars for scouting and hunting. The Terra10x42s perform great in low light conditions. Very clear and bright and easy to adjust. The Terra's are a very compact binocular. The objective and lens covers work good.
My only complaint is that the binoculars didn't come with a case. However I did know this when I purchased them. Zeiss does offer the case but you need to go on their website enter the code and pay for shipping and handling. I did this and I am still waiting because the case is backordered. My opinion is for Zeiss is to save the production on the fancy clear plastic show case they come in and put them in a box and send them with a useable Zeiss protective case for travel or a pack.
Other than the complaint I listed above the binocular is still a great product from Zeiss.
