After a lot of research I bought two of the 600's for my 42ft boat. I keep the boat in the water all winter in the Northern Chesapeake and have used the Xtreem heaters for two winters. I'm not sure they take the pace of winterizing your engines, but I know they keep my engine room and my large lazerette above freezing even during 20 degree weather. I have a boat monitor that tells me the temp. on the boat and alerts me when it goes below 35 degrees. Never had an alert and most times the temp was at least in the 40's. These are nice small units that don't take much room. Make sure you block the vents to your heated space (where it's safe to do so) so cold air can't compete with the heater. These may be a little expensive, but they are a whole lot less expensive than a manifold cracked from freezing, or a boat that sinks because the bilge pump froze.
