Comments about Wright McGill Guide Series Combo, M, 6'6":
This is a great combo. I used it for bass down in central florida and have pulled in many bass on it. The only problem with it is you cant take it saltwater fishing. i only used it for a day and it locked up on me the next day after i washed it down good with fresh water. I got lucky and bought the warrenty and got my money back. If you are just planning on taking it freshwater fishing then i would recommend it but just not for saltwater.

Comments about Wright McGill Guide Series Combo, M, 6'6":
A couple of weeks ago I ordered three rod and reel combos of different lenghts and stiffness. My neighbor, which whom I fish a lot, also purchased a couple.
We purchased them because the sale price was great and the rod, which is what we were really after, has a very nice design for us as we fish top water and cast a lot. Specifically when you mount the reel it tightens from the top, not the bottom, meaning where you hold the rod you not placing your hand over the threads, making for a more comfortable rod to cast and handle.
On the downside it's been over two weeks since I ordered and only two of the three rod/reel combos have arrived. Also one of the eyelets on one of the rods my neighbor purchased failed the first day he fished with it, so I'm unsure about the quality.

Comments about Wright McGill Guide Series Combo, M, 6'6":
I thought it was a great rod for what I paid for it. But its not well put together. First night I used it I maybe did 10 cast and the reel broke. So I went back to exchange it. The second one I got I did about 10 cast again and something different broke in the reel. So I was a little disappointed but I thought I would give it another chance. I went back and exchanged for my third rod in 5 days. And after an afternoon of fishin the tip just fell off like it was never really glued on. Going back today to return. I'll think twice before buying another gander rod

Comments about Wright McGill Guide Series Combo, M, 6'6":
Rod and reel combo is great for casting crank baits yet has enough touch for feeling the sensitive bites while jigging or fishing soft baits.
