Q:Why weren't galvanized screws for the base included? What size screws should be used? Is any other hardware(bolts, washers, nuts, etc.) required for installation?Asked on 11/6/2009 by Robert from Granbury, TX
A:The Wise Company, due to past experiences and legalities, does not include any hardware to mount any seat or pedestal to the floor of a boat. You should have everything that you need to put the seat together, but there will never be hardware to mount to the floor of the boat. You will need to go to the hardware store and get the proper hardware for your particular boat. We can not say that there is one size bolt or screw needed to mount these to the floor because every boat is different. You will need to make sure that whatever you get for mounting to the deck of the boat is stainless steel so that it will not rust or break.Answered on 11/10/2009 by OVERTON'S from TECHNICIAN
