could offer the breakaway hardware as a option.an additional block for a reverse transom would be nice.

Comments about Dockmate Sport/Diver Boarding Ladder, 4-Step:

Very nice ladder, heavy duty should out last the boat. I purchased the longer one because all ladders I have used in the past only come to my knee level and with this one I have no problem catching the first rung when exiting the water with full scuba gear.

How does this attach to the boat ? would it work on the back of a Lund fisherman boat?

This comes with a mounting bracket that is not currently shown (see the 3-step version, item 21407) for picture of the mounting plate.

                      A:

An attachment plate/block attaches with 4 bolts not supplied. the ladder then drops into a slot on the plate and latches into place. Mine is mounted on a Lund Pro Sport on the left Transom.

                  • Q:

Is there anything made to extend this divers ladder out far enough from the transom of a boat when the boat has a swim platform also attached?

I'm looking at the 4 rung ladder.
