Comments about Western Hickory Cookin' Chunks:

I use these hickory chunks to add smoke when grilling and smoking meats, not for the fire itself. After soaking them in water for an hour they will give a good smoke on the hot charcoals. Great price, great chunks. This was my second order from Overtons, as they took me away from another hickory chunks site.

Comments about Western Hickory Cookin' Chunks:

This is a quality product which is a good value for the money. The only glitch is that the item is described as a 10-lb. bag. In reality, the product is sold by volume rather than weight. The 1/3 cubic foot amount is typically around 8 lbs. (not 10 lbs.). But it is still a good bargain.

                  Service and delivery comments:

The item showed up on time and expertly packed. No damage.

larger chunks of wood than expected, too large for some smokers as is but good for BBQ grill.
