            This was the first snorkel gear I've bought and it worked great. I have never snorkeled before so this sets ease of use helped me a lot. The goggles do help with reflections off the water.

                        A:

                        Lens are tempered glass coated with a special coating (NUV-NIR) which repels the UV and glare and shortens the wave lengths to mitigate harsh white light, resulting in the Blu-ray effect that you feel when wearing. This is similar approach to the "high definition" blu-ray you see advertised for the new televisions being promoted.
