The winch was much more difficult to install than I anticipated. It required modifactions to my boat trailer and I also had to spend around an additional $50 to run 8 gauge wire from my truck battery to the winch. Trolling Motor Plugs had to be installed to accept the winch wire at the back of my truck. All in all it was quite a pain to install.
