        This product seems to be a good "price performer" while it is not built to withstand a great lateral force like a kid running into it,I can say it holds champagne glasses and bottle at sunset quite well. Installation is easy with the supplied hardware.

                          The pedestal is 2" diameter. There is a plastic cap that slides into the table mount and it is tapered, 2 1/8" to 2 1/4".
