This item will greatly improve the appearance of my boat! The self-draining cupholders are a great feature. Storage compartment should have a divider to prevent stored items from interferring with electrical/mechanical systems exposed inside.Still,a great unit all in all.

I installed this console on a pontoon boat which is its best application. [...]This is an attractive console constructed of quality material except for the wiring hook-ups on the swithes which appear to be light duty and will most-likely fail is they get bumped around much. Extreme care needs to be made while installing wiring as not to damage connectors. Secure wiring after installation so it can't vibrate and cause fatigue in the connections. Also, you need to be really small or have a friend that is small enough to crawl inside the small door opening to hook up the wiring if you add any extra items such as a horn or depth finder. The table that came with it is very attractive, but it wobbles a LOT on the mounting bracket. It needs to be a socket design instead of twist in. Also, a person (especially a child) might catch a toe on the bracket while the table's not in use.
