Q:I have a 18' Flatbottom show boat and the top portion of the hull has dulled from a plastic sheet placed on top and the heat got it in the gel coat. I want to keep this boat in the classic original condition which is a metal flake gold. We tried to color sand with 3000 grit but still did not take off the adhered plastic which damaged the finish. A:Yes, This is just anouther great application.
Clean first using Toon-brite, Fiberglass cleaner
then follow with Toon-brite, protective Clear coat.
