        I think you could make this work, although the side controls and steering cable need to be brought up through center, and a bracket made for the right side controles.I have done the same thing ,except for the right side controls I built a plywood and glass box and attached it to the side of gunwale,then reatached the controles,the console is a little right of center, which makes it easy to get around.

      I have a 15' Jon boat. I want to install a console (complete) so I can stear the boat from the console instead of from the engine. Will this console(#74896) work on this boat. If so, what other items do I need, and how hard is it to install? The boat is a #1542 Duracraft boat (2007 model) with a 25hp Yamaha engine (2007). Thanks for any help you can give me

        Worked beautiful on my jon boat. I have an old 28 Special Evinrude. Can't see why it wouldn't work for you.
        I added a couple of gauges and side mounted the controls.
