These are really good and sturdy and you can't beat the price. I installed them, then re-installed them 4 or 5 times to get the proper distance from the boat. I have a Monster Tower on my Sea Doo Challenger Jet Boat so those brackets stick out and cause a little problem when loading the boat but it still is great. I have to leave a little more distance for the brackets but they easily adjust. One day was really windy and rocky and I walked the boat right into the guides and onto the trailer even though the water was super choppy. I watched another guy with a Jet Boat crack his fender that day because he drove it right onto the fender and he did not have any guides! It has paid for itself over and over now. These look nice too and if the PVC gets banged up after a while, you can just replace the PVC. Best purchase I have made yet!

Measure your trailer
My trailer rails were just a bit too big for the supplied bolts. Had to purchase longer bolts.

Comments about Tie Down Engineering Post Guide-Ons:
Used them one the trailer and boat I purchased and there were no guild Post . I like how tall they are they stick out if the water when putting the boat on the trailer. Don't know how long they will last since I live in az and the sun eats everything. The PVC pipes were thick so they should last a long time.

Comments about Tie Down Engineering Post Guide-Ons:
Used for 18" aluminum runabout. Hard to load when windy and that's why I purchased the guides. Haven't loaded boat since installed but appears to be what I need to help.

Comments about Tie Down Engineering Post Guide-Ons:
We previously purchased 60" guide posts and they worked just fine, but these are definitely much sturdier. Since we had practice installing this product the second time was much easier.

Comments about Tie Down Engineering Post Guide-Ons:
The guides were extremely easy to install on our boat lift. The posts are 2" in diameter and we placed a 3" PVC pipe that is 48" tall with caps over them so they would turn when the boat went by them. We put one set at the very back of the lift to guide the boat into the stall, another set in the middle to position the boat centered on the bunks, and another set on he front of the lift to stop the forward motion of he boat. We are really pleased with he guides and the results.

Comments about Tie Down Engineering Post Guide-Ons:
I put these guides on our boat lift. They fit perfectly and installed easily. I added 5' sections of 3" PVC with caps over the 2" 4' post. This alows the pipe guides to roll when putting the boat in the cradle. I installed two sets on each side and one set at the front of the cradle to center and stop the boat at the exact position on the bunks. I highly recommend these guides.

VERIFIED BUYER
A:
Yes,however you may want to do a little adjusting by trying it on top or bottom of the trailer rail. I found I get a better height and fit by going on top instead of following instructions. I went to my locate hardware store and got reflectors and put on the plastic poles to help with visability and my old eye sight!Answered on 5/28/2010 by Master Chief from Enfield,Il
