Q:I have 10' bunk boards on my trailer. Can I trim two of these and butt them end to fit a 10' board?Asked on 5/20/2015 by dgolombowski from Pewaukee, WI
Yes. They can be trimmed to fit but the nail patterns will no longer fit what the manufacturer had created for a secured fit.

Q:Will this product scratch the fiberglass.and do the mounting screws get installed on the side of the bunks.Asked on 4/9/2015 by Tom from Atco nj
A:The polypropylene material should not scratch the gelcoat or fiberglass. Just like bunk carpet, if there is dirt or debris on the bunks it can cause fine abrasions on the boats gelcoat or fiberglass. The mounting screws are installed in the side of the bunk glide-ons. If you zoom in on the photo you can see the reinforced areas where the screws are to be installed.Answered on 4/10/2015 by Product Expert from Overtons
Q:Can you put it over the bunk carpet?Asked on 3/1/2015 by Russ
No. The Tie Down Modular Bunk Glide-Ons will not fit properly if they are installed over top of a carpeted bunk.
