I love this product. Has been very useful and keeps my sea doo in place. But here is a tip keep it well anchored and screwed down deep and it will hold it in place. I have also tied 2 sea doo's with no problem. Only complaint it was difficult to screw into hard ground surfaces. I have bought this product for family members and they use it regularly.

Purchased 2 tie mates to beach my two PWC's. I've used tent tie downs in the past that would pull from the sand. This product held well in the sand. The problems: one had a manufacturing deefect that wouldn't allow the screw pipe into the screw in hole. The other problem is that standard dock line won't fit through the line attachment hole.

Comments about Tie Down Engineering Tie Down Mate:

The Tie Down Mate is great. I had been using grappelling anchors that would shift and move. This screws into the sand and has a surprising amount of holding power. I could probably pull it out if I really, really tired, but with my 17' Bayliner hooked to an Anchor Buddy, it did not budge even when hit with moderate waves. I have recommended this to everyone I know.

Paired with an Anchor Buddy, you are all set. Very easy to use, excellent holding power, and when you are ready to go, just unscrew it and roll.

Comments about Tie Down Engineering Tie Down Mate:

This anchor needs to be screwed into the sand. Unless the water your anchoring is shallow, you need to be a good swimmer or have a weight belt to keep you down. I had to surface quite a few times. I've got to say they did work good in rough water at Sylvan Beach and I have a 22ft Pontoon.
