Comments about Tie Down Engineering Tie Down Boat Side Guide-Ons, Pair:
The design is really good but the materials are lousy. The U bolts provided are stainless but the arms and uprights are lightly coated with a electro -zinc plating, at least that's what I think it is. I put a set of these on my EZLoader Trailer in 2010 and they're rusting out already. If you boat in salt or even brackish water avoid these guides unless they start offering a stainless or hot dipped galvanized option.
