Comments about Tie Down Engineering Tie Down 60" PVC Boat Post Guide-Ons, Pair:
I liked the feature of being able to adjust the angle of the guide. I have a 1967 Thompson 20' Lapstrake and needed something that wouldn't damage the Lapstrake edges. Extra wedge availability would be nice. Even tho it's not specified, the posts are removable. Con: (16)3/8" nuts were missing, very, very frustrating. For something that costs over $100.00 You would think they would have better quality control. Narrow + or - 7 degree angle adjustment. The difference between a 3 star and a 5 star were the missing nuts, inexcusable.
