Ladder used on dock at lake. Dropped last one in while raising it up to clean it. I will be sure to tie the ladder on this time!

Comments about Tie Down Engineering Tie-Down 3-Step Dock Ladder:
I purchased both the ladder and the quick-release. The ladder came with all screws / bolts etc (somebody else had problems with this, but not me). Anyhow, we really like this ladder. We were having problems with people using the dock (liability issues) while we were out of town, but now we can just easily disengage the ladder and store it when we're away/during the off season. This ladder is sturdy, and has a gently slope, fairly wide steps, and good grabbing handles so that our young children (ages 3 + 5) can easily climb in and out. Good for adults too!

Comments about Tie Down Engineering Tie-Down 3-Step Dock Ladder:
The ladder itself is good. However, note that the picture shows the quick release but you have to buy that separately. I later ordered it after realizing it was sold separately, they then only sent one side bar and the mount. Also note, that even though the manufacturer includes mounting hardware as an included item, Overton's does not include mounting hardware. I can see them not including mounting hardware to mount to your particular surface, but they do not include the hardware to attach the side bars to the ladder. So you need to make a separate trip to buy hardware to assemble the ladder... kind of like buying a car, but you have to go somewhere else to get the tires so you can drive it away... makes no sense. Not sure why Overton's says in one place the hardware is provided and in one place they say it is not provided... none the less they really did not seem to care about the inconvenience this has created for me. The ladder is good, service after the sale will push me somewhere else in the future.

Our Installation was easy and took around 1.5 hours. The ladder is very stable and easy to assemble. I have owned two of these ladders and have no compliants with either.
