Comments about Therm-a-Rest™ Trail Lite Sleeping Pad:
Taking it back. It's clear that you get what you pay for. I find it uncomfortable... It's only 20" wide, so every time you move you're halfway off the mat and it kept waking me up. It's very durable, which is good, and it can be overinflated, making it even a little thicker, but I still found the mattress to be too hard. I'm used to sleeping on a Tempurpedic at home (which is soft), so maybe it's just me, but I've also slept on regular air mattress and found them to be comfortable. I'm thinking of the 2.5" thick mattress that costs way more. A good night's sleep (to me) is extrememly important to truly enjoy yourself so I find it to be worth it. After using this pad on 3 camping trips, I've woken up exhausted making me regret going. After all, half the fun is sleeping out in the wilderness, so it's worth spending the dough.
