This product is a must for Older or Disabled people, just a click of the button to lower or raise your anchor from any location on your boat. I can use my Trac Remote to retrive my anchor without the fear of falling, as a older person with balance and health issues this the perfect addition to my Trac Anchor Winch.

In order to make the wireless work you have to take apart the whole big water 45 to get to the CU and replace it, and the bolt holes do not line up, so they send you small plastic zip ties to hold the new unit in place. SMALL JUNK ZIP TIES!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The wireless remote for my Tack anshor winch had a few issues, it would shut off when retrieving the anchor, however all I had to do was press on and continue.
I called Track, no questions asked they sent me a new remote unit, works perfectly. My old "anchorman" (my wife) is very pleased with her replacement.

I ordered this remote so I could work both of my anchors at the same time. This is a great product. I was a little sceptic at first but I have no complaints. It was real easy to install and I had no problems. I have already recommended this product to my friends that have boats.

It is a real pain if you add the remote unit. You have to tear everything apart and rewire the whole thing. If you have not done something like this before to will have a hard time. I would think twice about if I were you.Answered on 6/22/2012 by Boat Lover from Batavia Iowa
