This was the worst 20 buck I spent, ever. First off, it broke right out of the package. Two hours it took for me to get every drop of oil out of my engine. I have a simple I/O engine and this fluid pump was absolutely terrible. I used it for my first time today...and my last. I didn't even bother cleaning it. When I did finally get my oil completely drained, the pump went directly into the trash.

Comments about TRAC Fluid Extractor Hand Pump:

When attempting to transfer gasoline it sprayed gasoline all over me from the top of the pump. While I would not recommend the pump, I do recommend Overton's, as upon hearing of the poor performance, they immediately credited me with no need to return the product as it would have been impossible to return something that had residual gasoline. Product was horrible, but Overton's is a class act.

I was attempting to move gasoline from one tank to another on my boat and the pump was very difficult to move and when I got it to move it squirted gasoline all over me. It is a dangerous product!

This product would not even pump water, much less oil. The product was defective and/or ineffective. Had to pay shipping to get it, then pay shipping to return it. To say that I'm unhappy is an understatement.

There are two black hoses that are 1 meter long or a little longer than a yard. They are 1/4" diameter and 5/16 diameter.

How to connect this trac fluid extractor hand pump? Can someone help

                  1 answer

                  • A:

This hand pump is used through the dipstick of your inboard or outboard motor. If you have a threaded dipstick tube then you use the adapter to thread onto the dipstick tube, then attach the hose to the adapter and pump the fluid out with the hand pump. If you do not have the threaded dipstick tube there are two different size tubes you will use to reach the bottom of the fluid case. The tubes are 1/4" diameter and 5/16" diameter and are 1 meter long (little more than a yard) It also include a clear drain hose that is 6 foot long.
