This bag is well constructed- looks good (has no manufacturer name on it)- the straps hold well but are very long and can be hidden on the top. There are a lot of extra clips to hold the bag firmly in place. The clips are large and well constructed. The zipper is strong and easy to use. There are extra pockets for first aid kits and others. The bag was in place all year with the boat at a mooring there was no slippage and no wear. There is good air circulation with the mesh and there was no mold ion or in the bag or on the life jackets stored in it. The color has faded a bit in the salt air and sun after one year but not appreciably.
Overall I am very pleased-this is a great product at a great price.

I wanted to use the product to storage some tools,a briefcase and the boat cover.Beeing a canvas like product it will sag with heavy small items but will be useful with;garments, covers,
fenders etc...The item came without mounting
instructions, and neither the manufacturer or Overtons had any.A design oversigth prevents accesing the front or rear of the bag when mounted,it's either one or the other. The T-Top
cross-tubing prevents this.(look at picture)
The zippers are good but only one way in the main compartment.
Material feels good and looks good but only color is black.I wouldnt recommend this product, but then;there are not too many choices on the market.
The product and concept are sound but in need of a redesign and a 2cent piece of paper with instructions.

Comments about Covermate T-Top Storage Bag:
Great storage bag for the price - instructions are not included - so study the picture to advoid frustration. Nylon and Zippers look be of decent quality.. freed my fishboxes from life jacket stroage. Wish it came in Navy.

Comments about Covermate T-Top Storage Bag:
Works perfectly for my needs. I store PFDs and towels out of the way and easily accessable. I highly recommend it. Measure your space carefully, because it would fit well in a narrow space.

Comments about Covermate T-Top Storage Bag:
This turned out to be a pretty good fit on the new t-top I had installed on my Whaler. What I was trying to accomplish was make some storage space by moving 6 lifevests into the t-top bag and it worked well, with a little room to spare. The straps were a little too long for the width of my t-top, so I cut them down to size, then simply took a lighter and burned the frayed ends (just like you would rope that was cut).
What I also like is that the 4 clip straps are very easy to get off in an emergency situation: the t-top bag can turn into a "ditch bag" as well if heaven forbid you ever had to abandon ship. You could put everything you needed in it instead of scrambling to look in storage lockers in an emergency.
One concern: time will tell of the ability to trailer the boat over long distances at high rates of speed: one might have to take it off if it causes too much drag during highway travel, as the straps might loosen over time.
