Product Description
th_marine_supplies This totally waterproof LED light is an affordable and exciting way to light your boat above or below the waterline. A broad floodlight effect is created by the engineered optics of the convex light face. Because of its low heat output, this light also works well on transoms, trim tabs, T-tops, and under gunnels. Bright 180-lumen light beam. Draws only 130mA. 100,000-hour life. 34" lead wire. Stainless steel hardware included. 3.5" x 1.5".

Attached to a piece of PVC, added a concrete block and it sits at the end of my dock in about 6 feet of water. You can sit and watch the striped bass (rockfish) circling the baitfish. Draws them in, perfect for night fishing. That's why I'm ordering 4 more!!!

Customer purchased for his boat to use under the swim platform to illuminate his outdrive and the platform area for nightime swimming. Works excellent, but one light, of four installed, burnt out after only two weeks of use.

            A:

The light only draws 130mA. The lead wire is about 3 feet long. In most cases you will use a longer to the accessory switch and from the switch to the battery..

            Hello Tony,

The information in the description is correct. These lights have 180 lumens rating and not 600 as stated in the video.

            Thank you,

How would you mount this fixture to a trim tab and are these sold as each or ??

          • Staff Reviewer

            A:

            Hello TWG,

You would have drill five holes through the trim tab and bolt the light to the trim tab. I would not recommend this as it could alter the performance of your trim tabs and there would be a lot of pressure being applied to the light itself. The light is usually mounted on to the transom. The light is sold as an individual.

            Thank you,
            Steve
