I did a bit of research and wondered if this could be as good as it looked for under $100. Sure enough! Other than having the screws and washers just be taped inside the cup-holder instead of in a small plastic bag it arrived intact and was easy to assemble. Took about 5 minutes and then we were in the pool with it! Being over 5'8" I was not sure it would be long enough but it works wonderfully! I will probably order one as a gift for my son's household even!

I purchased this product as a replacement for a terrific Poolmaster float that I have had for 10 years. The only problem with the Poolmaster is the styrofoam fill in the free-floating footrest fell apart and I have not found anything suitable to put in there. The footrest in the Poolmaster, being free-floating, can either be up or tucked under the float when not needed. The buoys that hold the float up are SQUARE with cupholders. One can set something down on them when necessary, such as a book. With the Sun Chaser, I could not tell from the picture whether the footrest was separate or part of the float. As it is part of the float it is there whether or not you want it, and it also makes entry into the float a little more difficult. The MAIN issue is the buoys are not square, but ovular which made assembly a bit more difficult as I did it by myself and they would not lay as still as a square might while trying to screw in the body of the float. Using the washers and screwing the screws in really tightly I have had no problems whatsoever with leakage as another reviewer complained. I wonder if they used the washers in the right place - ? Whlle IN the float, which is well padded, the discomfort caused by the armrests was noticeable. First, I sat lower in the float so the armrests were slightly higher than I would like. Secondly, because of the shape of the armrests, my arms really, really hurt. There is no flat surface on which to rest your arms - it is oval - and there is a seam runnning down the middle of the oval which further digs into ones arms. Soooo, I shall continue to find a suitable refill for my Poolmaster float and use the Sun Chaser as a backup.

Comments about Swimline SunChaser Padded Luxury Lounge Chair:
Awkward to assemble, but not difficult. Very rigid construction, not real easy to store. But float works well in swimming pool.

Comments about Swimline SunChaser Padded Luxury Lounge Chair:
This chair is incredibly comfortable in the water. I am 5'4" and my husband is 6'6" and the chair is comfortable for each of us. We had a problem with the first chair (missing a factory installed plug) and Gander Mt. had a replacement sent immediately. Very pleased with their service.
