We bought 3 of these in various colors/designs. Kids love them. Haven't been out in boat yet this year, but the one concern I have is the fin sticking out when they are trying to sit back in seat. However, getting them to stay sitting is a challenge in itself. The sizing seems a bit smaller. The large fits our kids fine now, kids are pretty skinny and ages 7, 7, & 8. They might get two seasons out of them. Note the Overton's Large Youth life jackets (we also have) are sized larger, but they are more traditional style and more loose fitting then Neoprene jackets.

The boys love the jackets. We were a little worried about them sitting in the seats and having the fin bother them, but so far it has not been an issue.

While the vest was a fun design and was helpful to get my boys in the lake, that is about it.
The vest is very small, could hardly get it zipped on my average sized 7 year old. Also, the vest rubs the armpits raw. After just a short time swimming and tubing, the kids were in tears because the vest had rubbed their armpits so much. There needs to be more arm room in these vests.

WE bought this for our 3 year old grandson. He loves the fact that he looks like a shark and makes it much easier keeping him in a lifejacket while boating. It is not too bulky and he can move around easily. The fin is soft enough that it does not restrain him from sitting back into the seat. We are very please with the product.

So my step father (Proud Grandpa) found this life vest on this site and just HAD to get it for his grandson. We have been using it for over a month now and there is a few things to point out. First is it fits my son very well he is just over 2 years old. The arms fit perfect unlike other vests. Second when ever we go to town on the boat and go shopping EVERYONE either says something about it or asks about the vest. We thought my son wouldn't want to wear a life vest but with this vest he isn't afraid to wear it and wants to wear it. I would recommend this vest for any age

I bought a large whichis supposed to fit 50-90 pounds. My 3 year old grandson is 52 lbs. I could not get both sides of the zipper within an inch to two of each other. Granted my grandson is built like a linebacker but is nowhere near 90 lbs!I have a 30-50 that fits better than the youth large! Very unhappy cuz now my grandson wants a "shark".

I love this life jacket and so does my 3 year old daughter!! It fits her perfect. The arm holes on this life jacket are smaller so it doesn't ride up in water and rub on her chin like others do. It also keeps her upright and her face out of the water. The dolphin fin is flexible so it doesn't get in the way when sitting. I highly recommend this life jacket.
