Comments about Sunforce 20-Watt Solar Charging Kit:

Easy to set up and start using right away. The best part is there is nothing else to buy, not like the big box marine retailers. Their 15 watt system costs more and still required a controller and other parts.

        Hello Don,

The cord is 11.5 feet in length and the unit does not have a mounting bracket. The unit has four preset holes for the screws but the manufacturer does not offer a separate mounting bracket.

        Thank you,
        Steve

Will this charge a 12 volt deep cycle Battery? How long will it take? Can it be hooked up to 2 batteries?
Asked on 6/3/2015 by Robert from Richmond, MN, 56368

        A:

        Hello Robert,

Yes. This would be perfect for charging your deep cycle battery. It is hard to estimate the charging time as there are many variables to take into consideration, such as weather conditions, angle of the sun and the condition of the battery. No, it is not recommended to use a single 20-watt solar charger for a two bank system. You will need to double the number of solar panels for a two bank system.

        Thank you,
        Steve
