Every boat owner should own at least 2 of these. They are great for tying to other boats, docks, or what ever you need to. They are incredibly easy to use and offer some adjustment with the different slots. I just ordered 8 more for all of the people that I boat with that saw mine over the weekend!

I was a little misled with this product

I never saw in the description of the product that it was for temporary use only. Basically you cannot use it to tie up your boat at the dock.

Comments about Greenfield Stretch 'N Slide Dock Line:

Bought 2 for ourselves and 4 for two other couples. We all have three seater Yamaha Waverunners and these cords are perfect for temporary dock stays or lashing all three up when anchored for some float time. We have noticed after one season though, that the heat shrink cover over the ends of the bungee is cracking and breaking off on half of them.

I replaced my dock tie up ropes with these stretch n slide anchors. Very quick - absolutely no wrapping and tieing - just loop around the cleats and go.

In my opinion, yes sir. However I do not leave my boat tied out for more than a week at a time. This is for temporary use such as day, weekend, and week long use. I would not use it for long term storage or periods where I was away for weeks or months.
                    Hope this helps out.

No. They even say on the package not to tie up your boat over night with these. They are made for tying up to other boats or to the dock while you get fuel etc. They are made from an elastic type material that cold break easier than a regular dock line.

Does this work with PWC's? Connector in front is underneath, the back could clip to the connector for towing. Any ideas?

If you get an item called Giant Snap Hook For PWC from Overtons it will make for easy hook-up. It's much better than a rope tie by far and works great for me.

You can, but it is really tight and not recommended. You are able to loop around the pole or tie a not for temporary mooring uses.
